Purchases made on SurfCoachManager and processed by Paddle are governed by Paddle's refund policy. Where applicable law grants additional mandatory rights, the highest level of protection required by law applies.
You can review Paddle's public refund policy here: Paddle Refund Policy.
1. Nature of the service
SurfCoachManager sells software and digital services associated with plans for coaches, schools, and organizations. Paddle acts as merchant of record for purchases completed through its checkout.
2. General refunds
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, transactions are not automatically refundable or exchangeable. Paddle may issue refunds where a legal right applies or on a discretionary basis under its current refund policy.
3. When a refund may be available
Eligibility is reviewed under Paddle's policy and may include, among others, these situations:
- mandatory statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights under applicable law;
- technical or product defects that materially prevent access to the purchased service;
- discretionary requests submitted within the timeframe published by Paddle, without guarantee of approval;
- exclusion of refunds where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or manipulative behavior;
- loss of access to the relevant product or service once a refund is approved.
4. Deadline to request review
Requests must be submitted within the applicable timeframe published by Paddle or within any mandatory statutory period that applies in the buyer's jurisdiction.
5. How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted through the Paddle receipt, the "Manage subscription" or "View receipt" link, or through Paddle support at paddle.net.
6. Renewals and future cancellation
If a subscription renews, cancellation prevents future charges from the next applicable period, but it does not by itself create a refund right for the current billing period unless required by law or approved by Paddle under its policy.
7. Method of refund
When Paddle approves a refund, it is generally processed to the original payment method and within Paddle's stated operational timelines.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
Before opening a chargeback or dispute, we recommend contacting Paddle first. If a chargeback is initiated, access to the service may be temporarily suspended while the case is reviewed.
9. Changes to this policy
This page summarizes how refunds apply to SurfCoachManager purchases. If there is any conflict, Paddle's public refund policy and mandatory applicable law will prevail.
